Meet Terry: Our new summer slipper

Introducing Terry, the newest addition to the Monte family. Just in time for swapping lace-ups and workwear for some warm-weather dressing, Terry is the ultimate summer companion. The best beach bud, the most relaxed summer lover, and the one who will never let weather compromise style. It’s time to get to know Terry. 

The Monte family is a tight-knit one. How did Terry earn a place at the table? 

Creating unisex slippers that you can wear everywhere is what we do best. While our velvet originals can be worn year-round, we saw an opportunity to create a product specifically designed for summer. It would continue to be both chic and comfortable, in true Monte fashion, but with a trending twist. We all know this summer is gearing up to be one like no other, so we set out to craft the perfect indoor/outdoor shoe that can come along for the ride — for wherever and whatever.

Where does Terry come from?

Just like our originals, Terry was dreamt up and designed at home in Melbourne, Australia. We then enlisted a premium, ethically and sustainably certified factory in Brazil to bring Terry to life. 

Where does Terry like to be worn?

Wear to the beach, the bar, the bedroom, the plane — honestly, wherever you want a bit of comfort and casual coolness.

How many shades is Terry available in?

We kept it familiar with two of our classic signature Monte shades, Peacoat Navy and Powder Blue. Then we sprinkled a bit of zest on top to capture that true essence of summer, in our new shade, Lemon. 

Terry-by-name, terry-by-nature?

That’s right, our Terrys are made from premium cotton terry towelling material and have an EVA sole. This means you can hop straight out of the pool and slip right into your Terrys, without worrying about getting them wet.
